Terms of Service

BumR is a small private server that recreates the 2016 Roblox experience. It is run by one person as a hobby, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.

These are the rules. They can change at any time, so check back now and then. For what we keep about you, see the privacy information.

Breaking a rule can get you banned, temporarily or permanently. New accounts are usually banned for good on a first offence. Older accounts may get a shorter ban, depending on what happened.

Getting in

  • Accounts are invite only, and you need a Discord account to sign up.
  • You are responsible for who you invite. If they cause trouble, it can come back on you, so only invite people you trust.
  • A couple of alt accounts is fine. Do not use one to get around a ban.

How to behave

This covers everything you type: chat, messages, forum posts, descriptions.

  • Do not harass people or use slurs. Light swearing is fine.
  • Do not post personal information about yourself or anyone else.
  • Do not start drama. If someone is bothering you, report them or message a moderator.
  • Do not spam links to your Discord, YouTube or other sites.

What you upload

  • No gore or violent content.
  • No pictures of real people, with rare exceptions for obvious public figures.
  • Absolutely no sexual content involving characters who look underage. It does not matter what age the character is meant to be.
  • Do not upload other people's work as your own. If a creator asks us to take something down, we will.
  • Do not make places or scripts designed to attack other players, such as crashing their game or collecting information about them.

Your account

  • Keep your password safe and do not reuse one from another site. There is no automatic password reset. Resets are done by hand, and only if you can show the account is yours.
  • Do not share your account or your login with anyone.
  • Do not attack the server. If you find a security problem, tell us privately instead of using it. You will not get in trouble for finding one.

Adverts

Adverts need to be about this site. A Discord server for BumR or for old Roblox is fine. Your own channel or an unrelated website is not.

The boring bit

  • This is a hobby project. There is no promise that it stays online, that your data survives, or that it keeps running at all. Keep your own copies of anything you would hate to lose.
  • Nothing here costs real money or is worth real money. In game currency is not currency.
  • Accounts and content can be removed, and the server can be shut down, at any time.
